Just finished making a number of Australia Decimal packets, it took me 4 days and my wife's cat just knocked 4 plastic container of 2,200 stamps off the table and they have gone everywhere.

The cat's are still alive and I think that is a good start.
I said nothing, just put my hands to my face.
My house is dominated by females and they do not like raw male agro.

At least I did not have to pick up the stamps and someone else will have a job the next time it rains to put the stamps into there 4 rightful packets again.

Amazing! Always happy Stamping! Having a bit of high blood pressure! KGV

Most of my stamp-related anger is directed at Australia Post.

I'm constantly amazed - and infuriated - by the amount of time it takes items to arrive from overseas.

Yes! And Australia Post has just increased
the cost to mail outside of Australia again.

Have also got a collection of "Cat Perfins"

After soaking a bunch of expensive high values
and spreading them over a table the cat jumped up
onto that table and put his claws through about 10% of the stamps.

Control yourself! Always Happy Stamping! KGV

KGV, I have a similiar problem with our cat wanting to jump on my lap when I'm typing on the computer keyboard or while I working on my stamps at the same table. What can you do, the cat is part of the family needs the freedom to wander throughout the house. I guess it is as much my fault if some stamps get knocked onto the floor so I try to just grim and bear it.

Anger management indeed.

This cover, with the giant Machin, arrived from the UK in five days. Then Australia Post did their worst with the tank tracks

Then this bill arrived today, two days from 180kms away, no stamp! AP have no idea

It's a wonder it got there at all -- there's a big yellow post-it where the address should be

On a serious note, I guess the tank tracks are better than a sharpie, but I just hate anything "sprayed on" the stamps.

P.S. for KGV Collector....

At my recent annual physical, my doctor, on confirming that my asthma was still alive and thriving, asked if I had pets. "Yes" I said, "two cats and a dog."
His response? Looked me straight in the eye and asked "How old are they"
I wish I had his email address to send him that picture.

Take pictures of the cat(s) to sell to a cat magazine so you can use the money to buy more stamps.

Or make a U-Tube video about Cats and be rich and famous. (and buy more stamps).
