I collected stamps for several years as a boy and still have every stamp I bought, but have not been an active collector for decades. I mostly collected U.S. stamps and space stamps.

A few years ago I edited some stamp-related topics on Wikipedia, found it interesting and decided to blog about stamps. I haven't exactly been prolific, often going months between posts on my blog.

So, I thought if I joined a community of stamp collectors, it might spur me on to action. Or I might fade into the woodwork for another few decades. Time will tell. At least it looks that I have picked an excellent and active group to test my interest level.
