but I wanted to ask if there are any folks from western MA? not those who think the state ends at the I91 but in the Berkshires and such. I am mostly trying to find good local info on places to buy/trade or clubs ni the area....

other wise hello again every one and for any one just getting here....

WOW this place is amazing and the members are great! tons of help already and I have only ben here 24 hours...

Isn't N. Adams part of Canada. (hahahaha). I am in eastern ma here and depending on what you collect, I may have some stuff to trade with you, and there are several others relatively near by. - jeff

Bearwithfish I am not too distant Red Hook New York in Dutchess county..about 35 miles from the West end of the Mass Pike...when I first started to drive I would go up through North Adams to my aunts place in Readsboro Vermont..what fun I had up there...we have an active stamp club here in Red Hook and you have an open invitation to attend our meeting if you ever feel like taking a drive...i know there are clubs closer to you..i will check them out and get back to you...FYI there is a stamp show in Albany every third sunday...like this Sunday..thats probably within range for you !

OH great!! I am so glad there are folks near by and a stamp show too?!?!?!?! oh man the wife is gonna flip LOL ....as for trades I may not engage in the conversation yet per forum rules but I am going to get a grab bag in about an hour and that will be a good start in having trade fodder LOL.....

meeeeeeeee toooo.. its been great so far .... going to try soaking my first ones today.. grabbed an old catalog from 82 and learned a lot about how to identify them ...
