Hi, I am planning on buying Vario pages to help my daughter organize her stamps. It appears the best deals are when you buy in blocks of 50 sheets. As there are so many stamp sizes, what would be the most commonly used Vario size - the 8 sleeve one appears to be too cramped - her collection is worldwide and sizes seem to be all over. We dcided against hinges as she is still deciding how to organize and so need portability. Any help wil be much appreciated. Thank you. Adam.

I use quite a few Vario sheets. My best deals for these were found at ebay with one large dealer. He will sell them like you said in 50 packs in a lot. But all I do is tell him what sizes I want and he will mix and match. He has certain packages already listed but will change orders if you ask.

It all depends on what you collect and have the most of. If you collect world-wide with various sizes then six pocket sheets are probably your best bet. Five pocket sheets are great presentation wise and if you want to display sets on a page of their own. On the other hand, if you have mostly small definitives to store then eight and seven pocket is probably your best bet. As with all vario purchases I highly suggest mit_63 on ebay. Not only does he offer the best prices for new Vario pages (probably the best price you can get in the world), he always is fair in his transactions and ships my orders the day after I place my order.

That is the one Panda, I was looking back at my transactions to find him. He also has great deals on binders with slipcovers. Lighthouse brand I think.

I have always used a lot of "7". But now that I am older and wiser, I have some of all the sizes. What size works for your daughter depends on what she has the most of...

I have also purchased Vario pages and Lighthouse binders from Mit_63 on ebay. He clearly has the best deals. If you buy in lots of 100 or 200, he will discount for bulk purchases and you can mix and match pocket sizes. The last batch of 200 sheets I purchased came out to less than .50/sheet with shipping.

Mit_63 works out fine for me too..typically 7 rows for stamps, 3 row for souvenir sheets. The binders (Lighthouse F) are typically on the higher side, you could start with any 3-ring binder for now.

Here are the Lighthouse binders I use. At $15/ea, you can't go wrong. Esp considering they have sleeves.

Thank you everyone for your advice. Much appreciated. I think we will start with a combination of 6S and 7S.
