This link will be helpful to you in identifying the stamps. The values are usually minimal, however, you would need a New York State Revenue Catalog to verify.
The SRS catalog identifies these stamps, however, I'm away from home and don't have access. If no answer by Friday, I'll look them up for you. The State Revenue Society has a very comprehensive catalog on state revenue stamps.
Verify they are perf 12.23 and I suspect it is. Its hard to tell the color of the overprint ink from the scan, but, if its a dark vilot red, then the $2 stamp is ST66 witha value of $0.55 and the $0.20 stamp is ST63 value of $0.10 in the SRS catalog.
