Hi rod, welcome!

I can't help with the Chinese stamps but some on SCF can.
They will probably need higher resolution and/or larger file size photo/scan though. Try 300 - 600 pixels per inch (if possible) and then use your photo editing software to reduce the file size.

Or online Photo re-sizer at:

Welcome Rod, glad to have you aboard. My books are at home, but if no one answers you before then (very unlikely), I will look them up for you. A little more size and resolution would help as well, but it is great to have you here with us and joining in on the fun. WELCOME!

Hi Rod,

welcome to the SCF.
Try uploading your photos to a photo hosting site, such as photo bucket. You can then link to that photo and show any size pic you care to post.

Let's put the pics here, it's a lot easier.

Now we just have to wait for a Chinese expert to drop by.

Welcome to Stamp Community Forum, Rod!

Thanks for reposting the larger pics, Steve!

Both are stamps overprinted for use as postal savings stamps. They will not be listed in the standard stamp catalogs.

The bottom stamp (with overprint in an arc) was used in Kiangsi(Jiangxi). The top stamp could have been used in several provinces. The actual province is usually IDed by the font style/size/spacing. Your overprint is too weak for me to distinguish.

Both overprints don't look right. I'm not convinced those overprints are genuine, but I don't collect revenues, so take my statement with a grain of salt.
