Can anyone tell me whether there's any value or desirability to what appears to be a complete collection of (cancelled) covers from each of the commonwealth countries. This collection of about 50 covers is connected to the Royal Commonwealth Society and the Franklin Mint and are from 1977. These were all addressed to the same collector. Details are as follows:
The Commonwealth Collection of Silver Jubilee First Day Covers. Commissioned by the Royal Commonwealth Society in honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Accession of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Royal Commonwealth Society - London, The Franklin Mint
Any guess what the value of this collection might be?
Hi Jeff Had a look around the electronic marketplace and couldn't find a set of 50 like yours for sale, but individual 1977 jubilee commonwealth covers are for sale for £1 to £1.50, a set of 10 is up for £5 and another set of 24 is up for £12. Hope this helps, should give you some idea. DavidR
