Has anyone ever seen a stamp with an iron or dice on it? I can't find either! I thought the US Monopoly game stamp might have dice, but it doesn't. |

...but the US Monopoly stamp does have an iron on it (as in its game piece) ... I don't have an example handy, so I pulled this image off the internet: (The iron is on Mediterranean Avenue.) |

I think that Zazzle stamps are now regarded as real stamps? If so here are some dice: :) |

How about a lawn mower or a hedge trimmer? I just finished using both of those. |

Even if they are custom stamps, they are now approved to be used for postage in the US and hence they cannot be disqualified as they are a postage stamp :)
That's a sweet lookin' beetle and it's not even in the same Order as stinckin' roaches!(cockroaches are Blattaria whereas beetles are Coleoptera); sorry no prizes this time :)) |

There was a whole topic not too long ago about the Edmund Fitzgerald. Here's the link: https://goscf.com/t/10781&SearchTer...d,FitzgeraldNot sure about Canada, but in the US there is a prohibition about "commemorating" disasters, etc., on stamps. Here is an excerpt from the Citizens Stamp Advisory Committee on that point: Quote: 13. Natural disasters, acts of violence, and catastrophes shall not be commemorated on U.S. postage stamps or stationery. The stamp program commemorates positive contributions to American life, history, and culture. |

Jeee, they are missing out on some great opportunities to contribute to the world of philately Here is a sample of what could be done, from Germany: I got this stamp today and I really had to do a double take when I saw the ship name and prow figure |
