I sell different items on ebay not only stamps, today I received 2 emails regarding one of the items that I have for sale stating that the "buyer" is using a payment method approved by ebay and in order for me to collect I have to ship the item and provide a tracking number.
I'm posting a couple of images of the emails since according to ebay there is no such payment method, the seller must received the money first in order to ship the item. I hope nobody fall into this kind of scam. Be careful!

With the Best of my Wishes

Bob

So emails fwom ebay at transactions-safe.info are no-noes. Bad News.

The text starting with

hit me as wrong right away.

ebay themselves would not, nor would any business in banking, start an email like that. Rigorously? That is assumed, they would never have to say that, otherwise you would not be doing business with ebay in the first place (or a bank).

Unless it comes through ebay's system and on My ebay screen then it is not from ebay, and even then I think about it.

It has gotten to the point that I am sure I have deleted and ignored legitimate emails. I will open nothing purporting to be paypal.
