I have never met any bad dealers on ebay so far (2 years) with over 100 purchases. Do not know if I was just lucky and I found all of them to be very nice and professional with packing and covers.

Hi again bearwithfish,
I have been using e-bay now since I picked up collecting again after a long break, both for buying and for selling on duplicates and un-wanted stuff. I can honestly say in the last six years I have had no bad experiences with the stamping community. My wife buys porcelain and we have had more hassle with her few deals than with all of mine! Maybe I have just been lucky, but the odd item that has arrived that is not as described, or just plain ropey, has been refunded with no argument. In return that is how I deal with folk when I sell stuff - if you're not happy, let me know and we will fix it. Perhaps it helps that I don't use e-bay for big purchases, I reckon the big money side of any market can bring out the worst in people. I used to work with a guy who bought and sold high value coins on e-bay and he was always getting ripped off or putting things in dispute. In short, I like e-bay!
