This has to be one of the best looking used #149 I've ever seen on ebay. If anyone doubts that the auction market isn't fair to dealers, they're not paying attention.

I gave up bidding once it hit $100 ...

I've seen plenty of crappy banknote grills go for $100+ in the higher denominations (6c+). There seems to be a bit of insanity happening when the hammer is about to fall.

A couple of blunt perfs but still a stunning piece. I think that the winner of the auction is quite happy as margins like that are far and few between.
