Hello everybody, I would like to share an item that may be familiar to you but is not to me.This is a book containing 52 stamped, folded letters sent from around the world in 1925-1925.These lettyers were written for the around the World Society by Elmer D. raymond. These letters were sent to members of this society and upon his return were bound into book for. These letters are from Belgium, Tunisia, moroccom France, Gibraltal, Algeria etc. Some of the letters are single franked and others multi franked. I don't know that the stamps have any particular value but it is an unusual item. These letters make you feel as though you are there with him. you can see and feel what he is experiencing.I love the variety of stamps and postmarks. At the top of each letter is a title describing the contents such as the Sauk-El-Burka in Tunis, the Mysterious White Bundles in Algeriaas well as Feasting With a "Real" Sheik and With the Spanish Army in the Riff.I hope you enjoy the scans.I know they are small but I still haven't figured out how to adjust the printer.
thanks
david

fincbob2451, thanks for posting this item and it sounds very interesting but the letters are not sufficiently clear for us to read them. Try reducing the resolution so you can display in a larger format but still be under the 100K limit. You might want to experiment uploading these scans first in the "Testing" forum under the "Support and Testing Area".

mhc99--Thanks, I will do that. I have been trying to paste from photobucket also but haven't quite figured it out. Will keep trying though.
Thanks
