We all know how inflation affects a country's economy. Bolivia went through very hard times in the 1980s. I had not realized how hard until I came across these (which will be sold at a later date).

Between 1982 and 1985 the price of a stamp went from $b 10 to
$b 3,000,000. It appears that the old Bolivian currency ($b) was not salvageable so a new monetary value was invented. It is seen in the third stamp issued in 1987 with a Bs. Um, I would not have chosen Bs.

Thanks for showing. It's must be very troublesome to live in a country with so much instability in the currency. Not only Bolivia suffer from it during this period.
