Hi to all

Has anyone else seen this variety.

It looks like this stamp has been re-entered several times and the colour is almost a block of green.
Unfortunately it has a stamp hinge stain under the crown which is showing through.
It is the only one I have found so far in the NZ family accumulation.
Regards,
Horamakhet

Outside my area of expertise Horamakhet -- do you think it could it be a fake?

Gibbons says of this issue "Stamps from booklet panes often have heavy blurred impressions." It doesn't list singles from booklet panes separately.

Thanks KirkS and Tonymacq

The number of varieties from different countries that I am finding in the accumulations is amazing. I think I may start a new separate collection of World Varieties from the accumulation.
I will see if I can find out anything about this stamp and keep all informed of the results.

It's a nice example of over-inking which wouldn't pass quality control today

Hi KirkS,tonymacq, and jubilee.

I contacted a Philately Association in NZ. The said much the same as Tonymacq, but did add that Scott may list it, and probably to contact Gibbons direct and see what they have to say.

Regards to all

That right hand stamp shows signs of mutilation
by way of double sided tape.
I think this is how they end up, when it is employed.
