Here is a 1985 Boy Scout cover from the Steven's Point - Wisconsin Rapids stamp club. It looks as if the Boy Scouts of America are just a couple years away from their centennial. |

Here's the same type of Boy Scout envelope used four years later in 1989. Besides the U.S. postage stamps -- one removed -- it bears a funny-looking black-eyed French stamp. [Check the "Overprints" thread for more on this.] |

Here's an ink jet printed cover from a graphic designer that's getting to be close to 20 years old. Seems like only yesterday! He used a similar design on a very nicely commercially printed glossy business card. |

WOW good thing my wife made a cherry pie last night! We got just enough from our tree for a pie before the birds got the rest. I really like the perspective on that Venice postcard, modern_who! Great censored cover, GGGG! |

I believe that Venice postcard shows the old bell tower..it fell down or something I was in the replacement one in August 2001 standing just below the bells..i wish to heck they would have given some warning before they rang the bells..awful ! The wife and I were lucky and got home just before 9/11..my wifes sister got an xtra two weeks stay in Europe before the airlines etc recovered ! |
