Hi,

Is letters on back come from enveloppe or not?

Maybe you know what is that?

Thank you!

Absolutely, (well, Id bet your wallet on it)
it has lifted either from a letter, a broadsheet
or an album page.

One example still not solved is a lottery
imprint from tasmania printed under the gum
of a KG5 sideface.

HI! cdnum
This type of fault is more common than I would like and devalues many of my better KGVs.
It is all about water based ink on the envelope, on the place where the stamp is attached.
So when the stamp is soaked off paper the ink transfers onto the back of the stamp.
The most common for me is whoever rights the amount of the mailing under where the stamp is attached and it is then a part of the back of the stamp after soaking.
A 50% devaluation is how I look at them.

Happy Stamping KGV.

CDnum,
it appears to me also to still be on paper,
not on the stamp.
I think if you soaked the stamp
that piece of paper with the print will lift off.

I don't think the stamp is damaged.

(calculated guess) :)

If you do soak the stamp
be careful, it is ripped up near the hinge
