I have tried to get in touch with Laswabbie but he may not be available to answer my question.

So, if anyone else has an Israel Bale Catalogue, or has the use of one, I would like the following value, for which I thank you in advance.

Bale Cat.Value of Nahariya Emergency Sheet [Green], Bale# L98.

Many thanks

The value is in dollars isn't it?
Is there an L98....just curious.

Otherwise, I think that's what I'm looking for.
Thanks Larry, now to make a decision.

Oops!

I mis-read your reply.
It is NOT the sheet I am looking at.
This one is 50mils, 4 Imperf labels in Green. This is not cut from the double sheetlet as there is no Gutter.

Larry, if you are watching, can you have anopther look at your Bale.

Now I'm even more curious !

Email sent.

I'll look when I get home tonight. From the looks of the other posts it doesn't look good though.

I think I am too late, but...the 50mils green imperf Nahariya Local 1 (number 115) has a price for the single at 8.00, on cover at 100.00, sheet of 8 at 80.00 and tete beche of 8 at 90.00

No other prices that I see. And Bale prices are all in USD if my read of Bale is correct.

LB, I do not see at 98 or an L perfix (but that could be because I am too dumb.).

In the 1948 Interim period of the catalog the numbers jump from 72-81 (Diaspora Series 4) to 101, Jerusalem Locals. I do not know what happened to numbers 82 to 100.

Sorry I am not of more help here.

Thanks Larry and no worries, you've been great.
I could not resist anyway and it was in excellent condition for these sheets. Many, or most that I have seen [and that's not too many] have been creased or with Gum buckling...or worse.

That I will be picking it up in person in Stafford is an added bonus. It's nice to put a face to a name !

Thanks again...and I must get myself a Bale !

Londonbus1....then I can look dumb !
