I have been searching endlessly to find the differences
between these stamps and the catalogue. Im sure that it is probably obvious to those of you that have done this, and I apologize if I am asking you to do my homework, but the curiosity is killing me. PS...this is my first post other than the introduction post and I look forward to the 50 post goal, so that I can see whats for sale etc......

thank you in advance for your information.....

Welcome to SCF, builderr. Great community here. I take it by that handle you are a fellow software developer of some variety. I've been surprised at how many geeks are into stamps.

First stamp, 22 or Type IIIa. Broken top line and complete bottom line.

Second stamp, 24 or Type V. Broken top and bottom lines, trimmed ornaments left and right as well as top and bottom.

Third stamp, 20 or Type II. Complete lines (but not recut) top and bottom, ornaments intact right and left.

Edit: elaboration.

I'll add my two cents onto what Otto said.

First stamp is from plate 11 and worth a little more.

The last stamp is from plate 12. There are a few type IIIa on plate 12 and I would not rule it out without a better scan. If the top line is unbroken then Otto is correct.
