That brings up a question.

Do you think A. Lincoln could be elected as POTUS in this age of instantaneous mass communications and celebrity politicians. I mean, he's not the best looking guy to ever be on a stamp . . . . .

OK I'll bite. Here is my 2 cents.

I think he would be a good contender because he embraced new technology (telegraph), was known as an excellent speaker/debater/argument settler, a good story teller with a sense of humor, hard work didn't bother him and a compassionate family man. Plus the man had charisma.

I like those as well. Of course, I am a little bias since they were released in my town and I was able to attend the FDOI (first day of issue) ceremony.
