Morning stampvirgin. Looks like a pretty good deal to me. It's had some life, and that's what I think the beauty of covers is. Lovely script and I think the blue cancel is nice. Can't read the town very clearly, what do you think it is?

I don't think it is pink either, sorry Daryl. I think the seller owes you a refund.

SV-- I just bought a 64 a few weeks ago from Gary Posner, and submitted it to Bill Weiss, and was successful in getting a cert that says 64 and pink. Your stamp doesn't look pink to me, but for $10 it is a pretty nice looking cover!

My 64 looks to me, more purple-ish. You can find my earlier post here:

Hey stampvirgin!
I hope you do not mind me weighing in on your new cover. Like others, from the scan you showed I do not feel it is a pink. If you look at the link that Ray-Mac provided and scroll down you will see scans of (from top down) pigeon blood, the (mystery stamp) carmine lilac, and a pink. The pigeon blood and the pink have Weiss certs. If you wish, I can scan you a copy of my Roy White color guide for the 64's. For scans of the 65's look at the thread titled https://goscf.com/t/15508 I hope this helps you out.

Still a nice cover, especially at the price.
Ron

I would appreciate the color guide.

I talked to the seller and he refunded me the cost of the purchase. Canceled the sale.
So I guess I'll never know.
