I've said it in other threads, so I thought I would post a few scans to show that I just do whatever the Scott Album people tell me to do.
For example, Mr. Scott put this page in my book and said, "Fill it!" I don't mind that, it's the reason I bought the blank pages:

I feel good about this page. There are several nice stamps on there, including that $5 beauty in the bottom row. But, for some reason, my eye always goes to the green 25-cent Paul Revere. I think it's a nice stamp.
I'm ready to turn the page. But when I do, Mr. Scott says I need to buy another one of those Paul Revere stamps -- this time a coil stamp with no perforations on the top and bottom [you'll have to excuse the fact that I have clear mounts on white pages -- I know it detracts from the image quality].
But hey, I don't want to leave any empty spaces in my nice album. And after all, it's only 25 cents. So, I get one more Paul (and all the other guys too) in coil variety:

NOW, I'm ready to turn the page, move on to new stamps, new topics. But wait, Mr. Scott thinks I better get a PAIR of those coil stamps to prove there are perforations on the left and right side of the stamps, just not on the top/bottom.
Well Gee, Mr. Scott. I've already bought two of those Paul Reveres, but I really don't want to leave any blanks in my nice album. And it's only another 50 cents, so...

Finally, doesn't that look nice. I guess I should be relieved they didn't make me get the $5 Alexander Hamilton in coil and line pair

Oh... by the way, a few years later when the Scott people made album pages for the Prominent American series, they did the same thing to me again with this pretty blue 5-cent George Washington stamp.
And this time, they said, "Get the regular stamp, and then get the one just like it, but where his face is dirty..."
