Is the booklet version of the forever statue of liberty/flag stamp supposed to be issued yet? I couldn't find it on the USPS order website. I found 4 copies on a cover that didn't receive a cancel, and thought maybe they beat the issue date?

The answer to your question is "yes" and "no". There is a booklet version of the stamps out as released on 04/08/2011 but in an ATM Booklet of 18 only. Post Offices will not have that version, as they are limited to being vended through ATM machines (the booklet is roughly the same size as US currency). If you want them and don't have a way to purchase them through an ATM machine, you can order them from SFS as Item No. 575740. It's a booklet of 18 stamps, so the cost is $7.92 (plus $1 shipping, of course).

The other booklet stamp you're probably thinking of is the OTC booklet of 20 to be issued supposedly in September 2011 (date not yet confirmed) but that version obviously has not yet been released.

Actually, I posted something earlier today about these stamps at the bottom of this post. The booklet variety has a much more grainy blue background than the coil varieties. Here's the link:
