Today, after reading a thread about the numerous shades of red
associated with a Civil War era stamp, I looked for mine, and present them for your discussion. I also included what Im hoping to hear is a real find...a Canada 1859 sc16 . Whatta ya think?

I'll be scanning some with grills tonight and will post them tomorrow

It is very difficult to establish colors via computer scans, all of your look to be Sc#65. Also, you might that your stamps do not exactly match the color guides, this is do to damage caused by light or oxidation. This issue is notorious for this. Here is a color guide that might help you.

I would give my eye teeth to be able to see some difference in those colors. they all look tooooo close to the exact same thing for me. I sure am glad I have you guys out there to help!! - jeff
