Today, after reading a thread about the numerous shades of red associated with a Civil War era stamp, I looked for mine, and present them for your discussion. I also included what Im hoping to hear is a real find...a Canada 1859 sc16 . Whatta ya think?

It is very difficult to establish colors via computer scans, all of your look to be Sc#65. Also, you might that your stamps do not exactly match the color guides, this is do to damage caused by light or oxidation. This issue is notorious for this. Here is a color guide that might help you. I would give my eye teeth to be able to see some difference in those colors. they all look tooooo close to the exact same thing for me. I sure am glad I have you guys out there to help!! - jeff
