Hi to all

My next door neighbour thought I might like these.
The first two scans are the actual 1st ever airmail flight for the day of coronation.
The others are just normal coronation envelopes.

Apparently the production of the envelopes was a joint production between The Australian Post Office and Qantas so I have been told.
Can anyone verify this.
Regards

Horamakhet

really nice. This is not a stamp but it relates to the subject. Hope you like. I like a lot of the British Royalty stamps as I am a descended from The House of Powys through Guilliumus Jhonnie Prater and Yscitheor of Powys

as long as you did not get mixed up with llewellyn you will be just fine, otherwise, I will be sending Edward III after you (and certainly not his son). :)

Hi lockumupthrowawaykey
You photo of the coronation souvenir sent me searching for mine.
Does your copy have any inscriptions inside.
I have scanned a copy of the inscription in mine, it was dedicated to a family member.
A few of my cousins were actually at the coronation as well.

No inscription in my copy. An old family heirloom started me tracing my ancestry and I came across the copy of the Coronation Manual.

Hi lockumupthrowawaykey

Family history is always exciting.
I love the monographed flatware.
I am lucky because my family has lots of "Historical Personalities" and their are heaps of books about them.
