I have 5 large posters of all the canadian stamps up to whatever date they did the posters but they are rolled up in a tube. Actually never even did any research when they were done or what they cost upon issue. Wouldn't just pin them up and frameing usually cost more than the item getting framed. Still shy of doing a complete wall . So who has done the math of say an approximate 3/4" defin to cover an 8ft tall by 10ft wide wall? I know I should be thinking metric but drywall is still 4x8 ft .

Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but ....

An 8' x 10' wall has a surface area of 80 square feet or 11,520 square inches (because there are 144 sq.in. in a sq.ft.)

A 3/4" x 1" stamp has a surface area of .75 square inches.

11,520 / .75 = 15,360 stamps required to cover your 8x10 wall.

Being that I work in a formal "education" setting, I usually have to wear a shirt and tie to work. Recently, I came across these ties. They're
a bit pricey but I love the philatelic themes!

Someplace, I've got a silk "Inverted Jenny" tie.

Nitrolures, back in the 1980's I also began collecting Post Office-New stamp issue Posters (2ft x 2½ft-approx') from my post office.

P.O. Staff would carefully remove the poster from the glass advertiser and place them into round tubes for me to collect when I did Philatelic business.

I now have between 70 and 100 Posters, which 'was' to decorate the stamp room, still in tubes.

Smauggie, I found some rugs to go with your wallpaper. It does seem a bit disrespectful, though, to walk on the Queen's head.

I like the way US sometimes crams a sentence in a few words..

"Got Stamps?" is a classic,
another is seen on fast food joints..."Eats"

I agree wholeheartedly. I have no intention of walking on the queen's head (and I dare say there would be a few people who would be sure to put a stop to something like that)

I would not have a problem walking on an image of the queen's head, especially if I paid the top dollar prices they are asking for for those rugs.
