Before I found out all the details I posted a questions to the powers that are as to what happened and the question was almost immediately deleted. I never did get an answer from the forum leaders.
Ron was burned in a couple of sales on
ebay that's why he went to Bid-Start. However, he's still active on the VSC forum. I think he's a little upset with most of the stamp forums.
I bought a few items from him (including my #2) and was very happy with them. His knowledge of the hobby is to be admired.
