I'm just curious if I'm the only one who wakes up every morning with my coffee and sifts through SCF for awhile to start the day? There have been more days I've spent with SCF open all day, than not, refreshing the page every so often for new posts. I understand those who work 5 days a week obviously can't spend that much time in a day on here, but I find it interesting when I see the same names online most of the time.
How much time do you all (on average)spend with SCF?

Clearly addicted to stamps and SCF ~Ash

I don't think I would have even half of the interest in stamps as I do now if it weren't for this place. I couldn't have one without the other :)...and then there are the days I'm so consumed here I forget I have 2 kids

I check in several times a day. I spend most of my time within arm's reach of a computer.

That's me, too.

Maybe we should get the kids together for a playdate and we can have coffee and talk stamps.

Definitely an hour or so in the morning with my coffee. If I'm working, a quick check during the lunch hour, and then another hour or more in the evening. That last hour usually involves multi-tasking -- sitting with a laptop while also watching TV, etc.

Well, let's see. It's Saturday morning and here I am. My morning coffee is over there. Still have lots of the paper to read. And yet I turned on my computer. (head scratch head scratch)
I guess I spend a lot of time, but it keeps me in touch (I like to think) with the stamp world out there.
When I'm at work, here in my basement, on the computer, I usually have my design software open (that's the real work), and at least three internet windows open. Two email addresses and SCF. So what does that tell you?

Dare I say too much time?

The HoneyDo list is not getting any shorter, the grass is getting taller, the garbage is starting to smell, haven't shaved in a week, my cats are mad as hell because I haven't played with them for awhile, my wife is trying to get me to come back to bed...

Yea, too much time.

@Spanishmoss- I frequently think about how absolutly awesome it would be to meet up somewhere for coffee with someone from SCF...though I think Puzzler is the only one close to me here in Nova Scotia. Maybe we'll bump into one another someday unknowingly!
@ Art & Kirk- Funny you mention the "come back to bed thing" I can't tell you how many times I've brought my laptop to bed for some late night SCF before I close my eyes - EVERY time I get the "Really Ash?"...yes dear, REALLY.

Let's see.

I wake up in the morning, make my 'Fruits of the Forest' Tea and check out SCF.

I go to work.
I come home for breaky and sit with my food and coffee and check out SCF.

I go to work.
I come home for lunch and sit by the computer and check out SCF.

At the end of the day, I come home and check out SCF.

After the late afternoon/ evening chores, I make supper and check out SCF.

I do not watch TV or read newspapers so no time wasted there. I can then settle down with stamps and...Oh yes, SCF ! Until bedtime which is usually after midnight.

Then I do the same again the next day........

SCFBus1.....

Yep SCF open generally 24/7 on computer and check in (refresh regularly). Seeing as how were a worldwide crew I think LB's place would be a good central meeting point and I've heard tales of cold golden beverages . I always find double imprints after a few of those but someone takes them before I wake up in the morning.

Good question. Like everyone else I check every morning with my coffee. While I am waiting for calls to respond to I'll check to see if there is anything new here. I couldn't say how many hours a week but I know it is a bunch. Now that my Sharks are out of the NHL playoffs I check a little more often. Lets just say it is part of my everyday routine. I would be really lost without it. I enjoy you all!
