Ok with my new found wealth of information on grading lets see if I have any of it right ?

Lincoln credo with tag end. Scott # 1143

The stamp appears well centered ,vibrant in color ,but with a little weakness in the design detail .

would this stamp grade as a F-VF ?

Yes, I agree F-VF. To make it to VF it should have an overall balanced look. The side margins are noticeably thinner than the top and bottom.
