Is there a catalog value for the 1954-57 10 cent minute man S1 and 1961 25 cent minute man with 50 star flag S3? Both are affixed to the US Savings bond books that school children used to save the stamps in until redemption.

My 2001 Scott Spec does not list a used price. Probably 25% or less of mint never hinged.

My 1998 scott spec shows value for S1 as $0.50 and S3 for $1.50. That is for unused values.

The prices you have are the same in the 2001 for mint NH. BTW, the one you list as S3 is DESIGN # S3, Scott NUMBER S7.

I have a b/w photo copy of the original. I was looking into their value for the owner. I will scan it in later.

They may be affixed to the book as they are supposed to be and are used in that sense, but they are not canceled. So no "used" price.

Since someone licked them in, you could call them mint never hinged.

Yes I'm kidding about the latter!
