I'm working on completing a set of the second issue revenue proofs. Here is the $50 value on card.

Thanks Harry! I will post scans of a few more second issue proofs here. I wish I had more of the stamps issued in the set too. They are tough to find in nice condition without missing perfs, creases or cut cancels.

Beautiful - the process of free-hand engraving still amazes me to no end.

Thank you Dianne. Luckily the revenue proofs are not really expensive for how nicely engraved thay are.

Here is the $1.90 value, along with a copy of the corresponding stamp.

Unfortunately the stamp has staple holes and a crease. Still it is presentable and fills the space until I find a better one.

Thanks, Tom.
I don't have a problem uploading if the file is under 100K. I use my scanner to produced scaled TIFF images which are about 2.5Mbyte, then I reduce the size to under 100K by making jpeg images at a little less than the highest quality.

Here is the 25c proof on card and the corresponding stamp.

This 25c second issue revenue has a bold socked-on-the-nose handstamp cancel dated Feb 19, 1872 from Deering, Milliken & Co., Portland, ME., a company with a long history in the textile mill industry.
