You don't see that Amelia Earhart stamp on covers too often, which is surprising since she was so popular.  This is the photo the stamp was based on. |

I am a specialist collector of United States airmail. That means I go through lots of stamps looking for varieties.

David that's great to know I happen to have some nice spares I'll send them for you to go throught if you wish. I'll send a list of missing airmails with your envelope on monday. Thanks Tom I don't have any of the maps.  Let me know what I look for for you. Also would you like some more copies of the canadian stamp news .I have mostly copies from 2007 that someone gave me but they were quite interesting. Dianne |

Dianne: Thanks! I look for Texas town and city postmarks on U.S. airs, asa well as perfins and pre-cancels. Abything I cannot use will go to Bobgggg & his youth programme. David  I haven't posted this guy, lately... he's the smoothest! |

Anyone watching the Oscars last night may have noticed a movie being released in 2009 called Amelia , about Amelia Earhart and played by Hillary Swank. |
