It is sad to see how some refuse to take care of collectable items, but we can take pleasure in knowing that we can give the a safe home and the proper care they deserve even if they are a bit rough. But then again for some collectors such as myself it gives some character to them. Like the 1875 England covers I got that are a bit worse for wear. I love them just as much as I love the brand new American Scientists from late last year.

Philb

yes too bad but I bet a collector who is focused on military themes and military covers may still find a shine to them, The illustrations are interesting would be interesting to discover who drew/designed them

Phil:

I tend to like the new, soft plastic trash cans,
much easier on my head, when diving...

Chris, over on Offers, showed me a new trick.

He goes to his P.O. early every Saturday
morning, and invades the lobby trash can, for
discarded envelopes, tossed in, by the P.O. box
holders.

A good way to collect used US modern issues..
