I don't specifically remember that incident, but we did have several confrontations with Russian ships and planes. They sent a "fishing trawler" in our wake to collect the garbage we threw overboard. We made it unpleasant on those poor guys.

I put a packet in the post ot you this afternoon. It only required a few dollars postage, but there is a nicely cancelled Karsh $3.08 s/s on cover.
