Jeff, I thought that the threads that you read were saved so you could go back later and continue with the topics you didn't have time to read in an earlier session. I believe that this used to happen until the recent improvements to the site.

Mike

The problem is that newer versions of IE choke on the pound sign (#) when reading it from it's own cache. Duh. It's not a problem here. IE is broken. Send a support ticket. Sorry.

This is absolutely pathetic. Named anchors are used everywhere and have been a staple of html forever. The fact that IE chokes on it is unbeliveable.

Here's a simple "how-to" for named anchors...

On the right side of the page click on "See also chapter 4" (Note the # in the url, that's how these anchors work)...

http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/tryit...nk_locations

You bounce down to that section. Now scroll back up, link has changed color because it's visited. Now refresh the page. In IE 8 and 9 it reverts back. Every other browser on my box, it stays the same like it should.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised from a company that beta tests on paying customers.

Seems to not choke on it with the links opening in the same window.
