Check it out, these are not offered very often. I had to stop bidding on it, too many people going for it, but WOW, what a stamp!
Item: 270763403696. The 2011 Scott's has it listed for $1,000.00

Ask and ye shall receieve! He will gladly send a scan of any stamp you might be interested in. You might want to inquire if he has any others. His stock changes daily.

I have known Rich for YEARS! I real stand up kind of guy. His Wife and Girls are also quite nice as well. In other words a HIGHLY recommended Dealer!

These are easy to find in average condition. The one in the ebay auction has absolutely massive margins for the type. If I weren't in a bit of a cash pinch at the moment, I'd probably bid on it.

The one below in my collection is sound with cert, but more importantly has a lovely SON cancel. Nowhere near as nice margins as the one above though.

I stopped bidding at $375.00 and it went for $380.00! I should have waited until the last few seconds and then put in my bid, crap!

Did you hear back from Rich? If not I would be happy to give him a call on Monday for you.
Seeing as how Sunday is Fathers Day he may have come here to L.I. or gone elsewhere for the weekend.

Don't second-guess yourself. You have no way of knowing what the winning bidder's maximum was. For all you know, he might have been willing to pay $500 or more, in which case you probably still wouldn't have won.

Agreed! Bet your max and don't look back. That's my rule! Otherwise you will just make yourself nuts!
