I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this 13 star oval flag cancel. There are 13 stars but in oval pattern as seen in pic one, and the only ones I can find with 13 stars is in a sideways pattern as in pic two. Thanks for any information.

Jcstamp, The top cancel is refered to as an ovate flag cancel and your example was applied by an American Postal Machine Company Model B4. The second example is much more common.

Thank you Russ for that information. I have googled the info you have provided and still can't find anything. Is there a internet source for that information. Thanks again.

I have a handful of flag cancels. I had a look through them and found these.
