Hello everybody,

My name is Albert,

I have been a stamp collector since 10 years old.
Former member of SPP - Paulista Philatelic Society in Brazil, and now Director member at ou recently (1 year) founded local Philatelic Club an Numismatic Club.

Would like to keep learning and sharing experience with fellow colectors here, and in the near future (after 50 posts "quarantine") exchanging, buying and sometimes selling too.

Also would like when possible the participation of fellows collectors here on trading with our club members who has not same fluency as me in other languages, AND colaborating with our Club projects.

Last year we've introduced to philately more than 1,200 children visiting schools with workshops about stamp collecting , and also inaugurating an exhibit room at local post office , where, now we are conducting the first display, with a United Nations collection that has been visited by lots of local students with our monitoring, and has monitored visits scheduled until August.

We intend to held the first exhibit with children who attended our workshops in October.

About me: I'm on my 40s , collect Italy, priorized on Kingdom and Italian Estates, Brazil,Canada, Spain, France, New Zealand, Australia, U.S., and topical Rotary International.

Have collection and duplicates from all the world but intend to exchange for my needs.

My sons are already collecting stamps. Cars and architecture the oldest one, and Reptiles, Penguins,Spiders and Birds the youngest.

Hope to post and share experience at the forum as much as my free time ( that is few) allow.

Happy collecting to all.

Albert

Welcome to the group Albert!

I'm excited about having a member from Brazil.

I have traded with other stamp collectors from Brazil and look forward to another. And I look forward to trading with other members of your stamp club through you. So when you get 40 posts submitted here to this group, we can start trading.
I collect USA stamps (and have lots od duplicates available) I also collect Airmail stamps from Brazil and other countries.

Welcome again!

Dave N.

Hello and welcome, Albert!

Kudos to you for teaching so many children about stamp collecting. I would love to hear some of your ideas. I started a local stamp club in my town, but we only have 8 members, two of whom are my sons. When you reach 50 posts, my boys would love to trade with yours, if ya'll are interested.

Phil, great the folks like to see images of our collecting interests around here, hope is ok to post photobucket,if I find any info in English about Argentina stamps , will forward to the forum.

Jeff, will make some scans for you guys soon.

Dave, after my posts quarantine (that has my fully support) I will sure manage some trade with my US wants and some of your wants on Brazil air stamps. Thanks.

I would be a proud teacher if was the responsible for the 1,200 students, but 2 other members of our club are the great responsible for this project that proud us a lot, combined with their professional activities. Our club is still very small with 18 founder members and 3 juniors, also trying to motivate more to join us and gather all members becomes difficult too. Don't give up, we will have a meeting tuesday intending to make a saturday morning coffee at the "exposition" with a trade workshop open to non members, will publish at newspaper and local tvs notes about "if you have an old box with stamps come to show us, maybe you have a hidden valuable gem", we believe we can find a lot of future collectors and good material using people curiosity about the myth of valuable forgotten stamps.

Will shure manage some exchange with our kids after the posts.

Thanks !

Albert

Welcome Albert!

Great to see some with an Italian focus join.

I collect "Any philatelic material that depicts a motorcycle, or part thereof, or name of manufacturer, recognizable as being of ITALIAN ORIGIN."
But I also have a sideline collection of prestamp covers from Italy.

Hello Albert C, welcome!

50 posts can happen quickly, especially when you are posting for the other club members also. That is a great idea.

Do you have a web site or do any members have sites?

I am interested in personalized stamps of many sorts (I do not have enough of them but like to study). Does Brazil have any of these types of stamps?
