Hello --

My name is Jan and I was born in the UK, but currently live in Washington state.

I have collected GB used since receiving my first album for Christmas when I was four (over 40 years ago). I recently began to collect US used (with possibly some MNH for the modern specialty sheets, etc).

I have a lot of questions, but my first is: about a week ago, I was browsing this site and came across an image of someone's recently-completed Washington-Franklin collection. I have searched for an hour tonight but can no longer find the thread containing that picture. Can someone point me in the correct direction?

Many thanks.
JanS

Welcome to the Forum Jan.

Is this the thread you're looking for:

https://goscf.com/t/16462

The search facility on this forum actually works unlike some I've been on.

Dave.

(edit for typo's... not nearly enough coffee yet today)

That's the one I was thinking of also. Took me an hour to find it. Finally searched for two words 'washington' and 'page'.

Thread title
Some more not up for auction

. . . which is good as far as it goes but devilish to find later.
Even though washingtons were mentioned in the thread, the title just lets the mind skip right over it as 'not relevant'. Psychology in marketing in action.

Welcome, Jan.

My 8 year old collects GB and thinks they are some of the most beautiful stamps ever. I bet your collection is quite impressive since you have been collecting for so long!

When you get up to 50 posts, I would love to trade some US for GB if you have extras!
