I believe these two stamps are from Montenegro, but I cannot find an ID for them. Can anyone give a Scott number of other ID that I can use to place them in my album. Thanks in advance as always - jeff

If memory serves correct. Montenegro had a number of sets that are noted but not listed, as they were never officially issued.

Jeff
The second stamp is from a set prepared in 1921 for the government in exile (they were based in Paris, I think) but never issued.
I have six values (1,5,10,15,20,50), don't know how many there were in total.

Rod from the thread you referenced, I should infer that the 5cent green crown is NOT parcel post but also from Montenegro in exile and not issued?? - jeff

As much as I dare debate with Mr. Warrehouse,
as far as I know, yes, not officially issued. exile issue.
I have never seen it identified as a parcel post before,
but philately makes a fool of us all on occaisions.

Perhaps label the stamp, "exile, never issued, possibly parcel post"
to cover all angles?
