Theyre on the ground because there is no more space on the table. The way he seems to operate is load his car full of unchecked stockbooks from around the world....drive to fair......open car and empty out. He makes up prices on the fly. I will be returning on the 6th of August - apparently when he has new stock (New car full).

I bought a 1934 tatty stockbook from him for £5. There was probably about that amount of items worth inside but £5 for a couple of hours entertainment is money well spent. For a bit of perspective - beer is around £3 per pint at the moment.

The US items of which there is a few below should be worth a fiver would you say?

I'll try and get back with Drew on Aug 6th.

Although I'm not into US philately but I find it fascinating & full of interest.

Needless to mention the adopted colors. Man, they look just overwhelming!

The thing is, prices for most of them (even for odd stamps) either fall under "Expensive" or "Sky High"!

Is it because quantities were too less to saturate the demands?!

Cheers
