The Worldwide Scott Classic covers only 1840 to 1940. It is more specialized than the 6 volume year-to-date set, with additional minor number varities, covers, and some additional specialty areas. It is still a general catalog for the period, not a specialized catalog for all the countries.
I'm currently using it to keep my attention focused on the time period.
