Hi to all

Three nice clean covers from Argentina two from 1947 and the last from 1943

I have heard that apparently the Chinese Collectors are beginning to take an interest in Early Argentine stamps and covers and they are buying up a lot of material in Australia.
Regards

Hi to all

The dealer I bought the covers from told me I was lucky to find any as he had three Chinese Tourists in that day who asked specifically for covers dealing with Argentina.
He said he has had a lot of enquiries from Chinese persons in search of Argentine covers pre 1950
I wonder what the Chinese know that all of sudden they are making trips to Australia to buy Argentine Postal material?
Regards,
Horamakhet

I wonder if the Chinese collectors are younger or older and whether they are collecting for fun or investment.

It could be a bunch of dealers in China got together and decided to promote Argentinian material, somewhat like the British dealers did to Maximum (maxi) cards, which are now so popular in certain areas.

Or they are emulating a popular person's collecting habits. Or the aliens have contacted the Chinese first and have agreed to use Argentina as a landing base. lol

It would be great to have access or information on this vast market to sell to also.
