I guess everyone who subscribes to USA Philatelic and/or Beyond the Perf has received this e-mail announcing that on Monday, July 18, 2011, the USPS will begin announcing their 2012 Commemorative Stamp program by previewing one new stamp per day for a week.

Quote:
I'm pleased to announce that on Monday, July 18, we will begin a special preview of the 2012 stamp program. Every weekday at 12:00 p.m. EDT, we will reveal one new stamp from the upcoming program on our stamp preview page.

We strive to reflect the best of our American heritage, arts, and culture through the stamp program, and we are excited to share what's coming in 2012 with you, our valued community.

Don't miss the first stamp to be revealed this Monday. Visit beyondtheperf.com/2012-preview/ for continuing updates. You can also connect with us on Facebook (facebook.com/USPSStamps ), or follow us on Twitter (@USPSStamps) for the latest in stamp news.

Here's to 2012! We hope you are looking forward to it as much as we are.

Stephen M. Kearney

Executive Director,
Stamp Services

Here's the link if anyone is so inclined to follow this promotional gimmick from the US Postal Service:

Personally, I think I would have been just as happy if they would have announced everything at once rather than lead us on with one new announcement every day.

I agree with you completely, wt1.
I found it very annoying that they chose to do it this way.
