Does this qualify as one of the largest postage stamps.
It is 6cm wide x 6.5cm long.
It was attached to a book parcel

I've just started working on Machins myself. So far, lots of soaking and saving -- haven't yet put them in an album. But I'm slowly working on it...

Horamkhet, that's a nice stamp and I am still looking for one myself. As far as the stamp being one of the largest, off the top of my head I can think of the 2010 Canadian issue of the blue whale that is a little larger (approx. 5 inches by 2 inches).

mhc99,

Send me an email; with your Postal Address and I'll send you one.
Indeed, I may be be able to send you both Perf and Imperf.

However, they are not stamps and are not listed by Gibbons. They are Postage Labels issued by the Postal Teller and issued to order.

Hi All

My understanding about these "Machin" labels is that they should not be soaked under any circumstances and that collectors are best advised to leave them on piece.

Can anyone in here verify this or are there some members in here who have already successfully soaked some off??
