US Machine Cancel Catalog Advice Sought

Greetings philatelists,

I have come to the conclusion that in order to proceed in philately I need to have a good resource on US Machine cancels. Is there a single catalog that will fit the bill, or are there a variety that one should have at their disposal.

I look forward to your advice. Seriously considering joining the International Machine Cancel Society if only for their book discounts (http://www.machinecancel.org/).

I don't know if you saw my post of several days ago about Washington, DC slogan cancels, but if not, here's the link listing slogan cancels used in the Washington, DC area only, with EKU and LKU dates indicated. It's not going to help much with the comprehensive list you're looking for and/or with other locations outside of Washington, DC, but at least it's a start and besides, it's free!
