A Whole Lotta 3cent Washington Shades Varieties 64 65 +++

Figured I'd do a scan of the lot before seperating shades. In my opinion be it worth a couple cents, I would say at least 1 falls into the pink category if not varying shades of pink beyond the typical rose. Havn't checked grills as yet for proper cataloging. Got an amazing deal on the bunch so theres no chance of dissapointment .

It is always interesting to see a set of used early stamps. I enjoy looking at the shade differences and the cancellations.

Here are what I consider the top6 from a color standpoint.

Any answers on colors here? I have a few of these that don't appear to be quite all the same (none with grills, though, I think), so I am curious.

Of the 6 shown 1 is a 64 and 1 a 64b There is slight potential for a 64a but it would take expertising to be sure and although Mr weiss can do miracles with scans, shades are vary tricky between monitors and scanners. From what I've gathered the rose shades have more of a dull brownish tint where the pinks especially pidgeon blood are much brighter. I have 5 total all with F grills if you are in need of a copy although it would likely have faults.
