I was taking photos for another thread, so thought I'd break the monotony and share these with you.

Beautiful stamps. Is that 10-cent variety have the postmark "New York Steamship"?

Yes, it's a NY steamship cancellation. I'm quite proud of it :)

What a gorgeous set. You must view it with a lot of satisfaction. It must have taken quite a while to get stamps so well centered.

Catalogue value for the 1869 set plus the single, 1880 reprint is around $5500.

The 90c value (Scott 122) accounts for almost half of the catalogue value at $2200, but mine has serious flaws and cost me only $250. The first 15c value shown (Scott 118) also has minor flaws and was only $60 ($600 catalogue value). The rest of the stamps are sound and most cost me 25% - 50% of catalogue value.

I should have mentioned ... every one came off ebay.

Rileysan. I'm gobsmacked! (no other word says it better) The 1869s have got to be my all time favourite US set. I love the compactness and simple complexity (does that make sense?) of them.
I too have a long way to go with only the 2 and 3c in my arsenal. Someday. Someday.

Good centering of this set is most difficult to get, but, jumbo margins as well! Very nice indeed!

Art

I'm still missing the 90 cent.

Very nice Rileysan. I'm rather jealous. I have to agree about that being one of the nicer sets the US put out back in the day.
