Well, I had off work today, so I spent a few hours
pecking around the unsearched (by me) stamp hoard.

The other day I was commenting here that SC205 kept
popping up. I ended up with 4 that day, and I made
the mistake of thinking it was a one off design
for a Scott number, but some others chimed in and
showed me the 216, the 205's blue twin.

I said I would dig one out, and I did! The 216 looks
better than 3 of the 4 205s I dug out the other day.

Anyway, Here is a group of some of the more interesting
stamps I rescued from the hoard pile today...

I also included one of the 205s I found the other day.
3 of the 4 were like this one, really basic hole fillers.
Lots of problems... I have the nice one in my album already.

I also rescued quite a few revenue stamps today too.
Again, most are problem stamps that would certainly
only be good as fillers. I'll post that pic on the BOB forum.

Enjoy
Dave

PS>>>> I wasn't even looking for the 216. I forgot all about it.

It'll take some time, I have alot of stamps to go through,
but most of these will probably be posted on the auction
forum here sooner or later. They are all duplicates except
the 216, of course. That one is going in the album today.

Here's the 216 closer...
The forum only allows tiny pics these days.

I put the 216 in Dad's album.... When I arrived at the page, I was
surprised to see it occupied! It was occupied with a brown 205!

Dad was accutely colorblind, and I have found a few places where
album holes were filled with very unlikely erroneous color varieties.
So, out came a 205, and in went the 216. Now I have yet another spare 205.
