Both of the Meridan, CT are type 219 electroplate.
San Fransico is type L-3 electro.
Los Angeles is type 237 electroplate.
Detroit is type 204 electroplate.
Waukesha, WI is type 461 rubber stamp.
I can't make out the city on the Mass. one, but looks like it maybe a type 203.

All in all you probably knew this!

Mike

Good choice of a stamp, Phil. I always liked that one. The colour is beautiful.

Phil,
I will start setting aside any Chiefs I see for you. I have been setting aside any Abe precancels I run across for myself.

Phil,
Some more for your tribe are on the move today. Look for smoke signals and listen for hoofs.

As a native of Massachusetts, I'll guess that Mass. precancel is Brockton, Mass., however, Brockton didn't use a Type 203 precancel in which case would it possibly be a type 204 (?)

Ach ! I forget that things are out on the internet forever...that Massachusetts precancel is a tough one ..looked at it under a magnifying glass....its garbled but it probably is Brockton...years ago my son and his girlfriend left her Honda hatchback parked in Boston for 45 minutes and it was gone...the cops knew where to look...Brockton....it was there minus 4 tires and a ignition lock !!
