According to a Google translation search of that stamp, the text is Hungarian and is roughly translated to read "Let's be friends of the transport" or "Let's be friends of the traffic".

Yeah, but wouldn't it be funny if it meant something else? Like, how about the driver saying, "Wouldja hurry up and cross the street, I got places to be!" and the pedestrian replying, "Chill out dude, I'm walking as fast as I can!"

Or, how about the driver saying, "My that's a nice briefcase you're carrying," and the pedestrian saying, "It was a gift from my uncle Herman."

When I was in Budapest years ago on holiday I found it much better to run defensively while crossing in crosswalks. Not as bad as some European cities I have heard about though. They are very friendly as they run you over in Hungary.

Maybe?: Be friendly/mindful of the Pedestrian.? is probably more the point. Very nice stamp! I love the colors!

Wow, thanks for the great comments and thoughts of what they are saying to each other, lolol.... I like the brief case one.

I read the translation, sounds sort of correct. There has to be a Hungarian group out there that can help, lolol.

The man walking out in front of the car could be saying, "Sorry, but I am on my way to the post office to get the latest stamp issues".

The driver of the car could be saying, "If you live that long fella!".

Hi Bujutsu,
Looks like "same to you buddy!".
Hey I just noticed the person in the car is on the passenger side. Or, is the steering wheel in Hungary on the right?

I don't understand you guys and girls. The fellow in the car raise his hands in a way to say "It's your turn" and the pedestrian raise his arm to salute him meaning simply "Thank You". Now it's time for beer and I have to go get it at the dépanneur or convenient store. À la bonne vôtre!
